Where It Began
As my appreciation for Mahjong grew, so too did my appreciation for everything that surrounded it. A beautifully set table, thoughtfully prepared food and drinks, good conversation, and the craftsmanship of the Mahjong accessories all became part of the enjoyment of gathering with friends. Mahjong became a wonderful way to strengthen old friendships, make new ones, and enjoy the fellowship that naturally grows around a shared table.
That appreciation inspired the first collection from Creative Instinct II. The search eventually led me to a boutique woodworking workshop in Java, where skilled artisans handcrafted a series of prototypes.
The result is a thoughtfully curated, beautifully handcrafted Mahjong rack that brings together craftsmanship and practical design.
